Emotional rollercoaster....

IF it happens EVERY TIME you come here, then don't you think that maybe the problem is YOU?!

Young couple shops with baby, I FULLY understand trying to save money, I WILL work with you to get you the best possible deal when it comes to using your coupons, HOWEVER, I do NOT make up the rules of coupons and there are just some things a register will NOT let you do. It isn't my fault you did not read the fine print, then get all pissy with me and have to point out that "THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME WE COME HERE!" Seriously puts me in a bad mood, like I'm the one trying to ruin your day....follow that up with another couple who are so satisfied with my service they make sure to say "WOW! You are really great at what you do, you are fast, efficient and VERY helpful, have a Merry Christmas!" Stop the ride, I want to get off....

So sad....

It's not all bad, sometimes it is just sad.....

Grandparents came in and purchased a little stuffed bear. Grandmother said to me that it wasn't for a happy occasion, so I asked why and she told me how her daughter was at the hospital being induced. She is only 4 months along and they are pretty sure that the baby isn't going to make it. They wanted to stop by to pick up a little something so that the baby wasn't alone......I got misty eyed, what do you say to that?

This is my first time working retail that I have had to deal with shoplifters, I now wear my "quiet" shoes to work, they are cute, grey, Skechers and they ARE quiet. I enjoy sneaking up on lifters as they are trying to put merchandise in their purses. 

*Wilda(beast) is a frequent lifter at *Dexters, she comes maybe once a week or every two. Brings different people, acts nasty to the sales clerks and then when she knows we are on to her she storms out and makes a ruckus. I give her so much credit, she really does try!

*Grandma is another one, she KNOWS I am on to her scheme, so now when she sees me working, she leaves the store, LOL!

*Big Willie got stone cold busted trying to put merchandise down his pants, THAT was funny!

What is really sad is that you see these people leave the store, they go to the next store and when they leave there, their purses are 10 times bigger. People like these are what drive up sales for the rest of us honest people.
